Montana / Bozeman Builder

This home was designed as a conversation between spaces. The meticulous buildout was made possible by my builder/partner, Eli Shaul of Benchmark Construction. A true artist, he made the process a joy through his great craftsmanship.

Eli embraced the house’s main interior feature, the staircase. This area helped define the kitchen, dining area, and dining nook as distinct in function yet deeply connected through material language. The bar positioned behind the dining table serves as the quiet thread tying everything together, finished in the same wood tone as the kitchen cabinetry and dining table, creating continuity without repetition.

Intentional Structure
Nadine and eli made everything about our Bozeman home better.

From the incredible library to repurposing the original 1904 front door as a closet door, the metal screens on the open staircase, and the kids’ trundle bedroom—every detail feels thoughtful and special. In a quick but brilliant decision, Nadine reconfigured the upstairs hall to make it feel like a true room, transforming the entire second floor. And the finishes? Absolutely amazing. Her taste and unique touches are visible everywhere. Most importantly, Nadine truly gets our vibe. Friends and family walk in and say, “This looks like you.” Mark and I couldn’t be happier.
